To provide better services and flexibility, candidates located in Hong Kong and Macau could apply The Engineering Council examinations through City & Guilds, Hong Kong office directly.
Registration for Engineering Council examinations
Prospective candidates must be registered with Engineering Council at City & Guilds before being permitted entry to the Certificate, Graduate Diploma or Postgraduate Diploma Examination.
The registration requirements are available for download. Student registration now begins. Closing date for registration is 18 December 2009.
Written examination
Once the registration at specific level approved, candidate could enroll the written examinations which hold once a year. The next series is in May 2010.
Written exam application now begins. Closing date is 26 February 2010.
Project proposal
To gain the Engineering Council Graduate Diploma or Postgraduate Diploma, candidates must pass in respective Project Report. Project topic must obtain examiner's prior approval before any submission of report. Entry must be made on the project proposal form. Candidate could prepare the project proposal anytime in the year. Yet, the initial proposal will only be accepted in certain months of the year. And the period is the same as written examination application.
